This site is a tribute to the much loved Wendy Lewis. Wendy died suddenly in a road accident in Uppingham in the early morning of Friday 12 November 2021. Her passing has come as a shock to Wendy's mother Mavis; her partner of the last 11 and a half years, Heather; her three children, Darcy (18), Honor (17) and Will (7), and many others who knew her. Wendy was a treasured daughter, sister, mother/ parent, cousin, aunt, friend, lover, partner, colleague and neighbour. She was a famously passionate woman, who loved many things: football, women, wine, Stilton, walking her dog, lying on the beach in Crete, doing business, arguing, a good party and a little dance - but above all, she fiercely loved her family and friends. We miss her.
Details of local funeral arrangements are on this page. We also aim to have a second celebration of life in London, hopefully in mid January 2022 around the time of Wendy's birthday.
Rest in Peace Wendy, and thanks for making this world a better place, and for the lovely memories.
Thinking of you all every day, thank you for setting up this page
